Tea Leaf Fortune cards~

My husband had asked me to use the Tea leaf fortune cards to see what message I received (which I’ll post below).

He, in turn, drew these three.

Fly – period of ill health or depression – both would be true for my partner at the moment.

Dagger – fear, worries, tense situation – he is under alot of stress at the moment, because of the legal dealings coming to a head next week.

Bird Flying – news on the way – looks like he will be receiving news about this specific subject!

Many of my lenormand readings have hinted out an out of court settlement, almost on the steps of the courthouse… interesting to see if they are all referring to that possibility.

Now, onto my draw!

Bird Flying – I also have news on the way (probably the same news as my husband, but not necessarily)

Tent – a temporary situation – like a gyspy who pitches his tent for the night out in the country, it is only a temporary place to stay…he’ll move on very shortly. This card indicates that certain situations that I am now experiencing are only temporary and that they will soon pass.

Horse –  A short journey. The horse invites me to jump on his back and ride him. Where am I going? lol it indicates a short journey, I won’t be gone long; but it doesn’t tell me whether it’s for business or pleasure.

So, I guess I can surmise that there is news coming that will affect this temporary situation that I am experiencing (which in my case are financial restrictions), and that I will be going on a short trip! Now I don’t have any plans to go anywhere…….my husband is due to fly out March 2nd.

We discussed that if there was an offer to settle before he left to fly, that we might both go back to the states and make it a business/pleasure trip, visiting friends and celebrating the end of this mess. This is the only trip that I can think of.

Something is being hinted at as changing from what we are experiencing now – that’s a very good thing, at any rate!  🙂

I had to go through the entire deck to find my 3 cards, after my husband did his, in order to scan them. I leisurely looked at each picture and the meaning; these cards are really beautiful!! I keep forgetting to work with them!
(You can click on each image to get a better look at the artwork)

Many of the card’s meanings are right in harmony with the Lenormand and other oracles. I am definitely going to give them more exposure in the future.

Pages of Shustah~

The Lord of Authority

Legal Papers

The Wooly Mammoth

The Lord of Authority: “This card can sometimes indicate a time of sacrifice or compromise when submission to someone else’s will is the best course of action. It’s important to maintain a respectful attitude when this card darkens your door.
In a practical sense, I read this card as the police– or really any person or body of persons who have authority over me, and provide safety and security. ” ~Kapherus

Legal Papers: This is the card of written work, of business affairs, and of legal procedures and documents.

On a practical level, this looks like there is about to be legal matters coming to the forefront, with papers being drawn up. Kapherus’ warning that it might indicate a time to compromise or sacrifice, is not wasted on me either. I’m pretty certain that in order to finally end this legal battle, my husband is going to have to accept a lower amount than he was originally awarded.

Wooly Mammoth: This card represents the past, whether the recent or distant.

“It can indicate that a past-life influence is affecting the current situation. Green Mammoth indicates that karma is at play in the events shown by these cards– past actions and events are resurfacing, and will need to be faced and either accepted or resolved.” ~Kapherus

In summary, I believe that the Pages of Shustah are indicating that this legal business is about to come to a head, and that compromise will be needed (on both sides).
The Wooly Mammoth  reaffirms to me that this is a Karmic circumstance, and that destiny is at play here.

I have always felt that my husband was brought half way around the world, within a few miles of this crook, to expose her dirty dealings and abuse. We have paid a high price for fighting her the past 7 years, both economically and energetically (don’t even get me started on the lessons I’ve learnt on the reality of Psychic Attacks!)

I have had many draws with other oracles hinting at the end almost here, but when the Shustah also reflects that, I sit up little straighter!

Happy Gypsy trio-

This is an incredible draw! It looks like my husband and I are going to get a major surprise around money, and be two happy campers! lol

My merriment would include a grocery shopping run to fill the larder with some healthy foods. It’s amazing how one’s perception changes when you’ve done without for a period of time…….all I can think about is a big gourmet salad…and maybe a glass of champagne 🙂

That would definitely represent Merriment to me! lol something healthy, and something sublime.

Goethe Playing cards~

At the same time that I did the below Kipper draw, I drew these playing cards: 5 Hearts – Jack Diamonds – Jack Hearts.

Learning the cards from Kapherus, and Regina Russell & Leo Martello, when I see 2 Jacks it tells me that there is a legal matter involved in some way.

Let’s break it down a little further though.

The 5 hearts can denote a female. It can also mean a significant event, or an offer being made. It has other lesser meanings having to do with sewing, clothing, female items.

Here, it could be referring to the woman, or an offer being made concerning the legal.

The 5 of Hearts (or any 5 according to Leo) can refer to Thursday in the week. That happens to be today, hhmm. Are there going to be developments today around the legal matter?? we’ll see.

Having the Jack Diamonds follow the 5 Hearts, shows an offer that’s financial (Diamonds), and one that we’ll be very pleased with (Jack Hearts).

If we get word today, I will just laugh and laugh!

Another more mundane glance at the cards could be describing 2 young females and they’re having fun creating things and doing girlie type stuff – my daughter went over last night to her girlfriend’s house for a few days, so the trend fits – but one has to ask the question why on earth would the cards tell me that? especially since it’s already known? So, I don’t think that’s a viable interpretation. (Unless something big happens around them and I’m not aware of it yet)

We shall see!

Kipper draw~

I have to say, the cards are definitely consistent in their insistence that things are going to change. I just wish that a ‘daily’ would always be a daily, rather than sometimes projecting out. Having said that though, I’m impressed that they reflect what’s most important, rather than just showing mundane matters all the time…….it varies, and I just have to accept that my Higher Self wants  me to know that I’ll be OK. I’m sure that once this hardship has passed, I will start getting more daily type of activities….

Here I have Pleasing Letter – Busy with Work – Gain/Win/lots of Money.

Just reading singly it shows that there is news, or paperwork that involves some work but the reward for that work is money, and lots of it! This sounds like a settlement to me. The defendant is running out of time.

This could also be a business deal that requires alot of paperwork done, but the payoff is big. Once again, both apply so I’m not sure – either will do, I’m not picky, just impatient!!!!!

Gypsy cards and Kapherus’ Spread~

Our neighborhood has been having internet problems over the past few weeks, so I never know when I’m going to be able to write! at least we’re getting a discount for the poor service!

The other day, I tried out Kaph’s streamlined lenormand spread, but with the Gypsy cards instead. It seems to work very well with other oracles as well.

You shuffle the deck, focusing on a topic for the question. In my example, I focused on the Money card (what a surprise!). Then you lay down 5 cards, whether from the top of the deck (as I do) or by fanning out the cards and picking 5.

The middle position is seen as the ‘House of Money’, and whatever falls in that position will get combined for an answer. You then read the cards traditionally, from left to right, expanding on the message of the middle position.

Here is my example:

House of Money

My question had been “where is the 1st batch of money going to come from? the legal or somewhere else?”.
You can see that I actually drew the Money card as part of the reading. Kapherus says that this just affirms to him that he focused well on his question.

First, I look at the middle position, and see the Enemy card with the ‘invisible’ money card.
At the moment, when the Enemy comes up in a draw for me, it’s referring to a literal Enemy – the only one that my family has – the nasty woman in the legal suit.

So this tells me that money ought to be coming from that direction first.

Death – Money says to me there is a change in financial circumstances, and that the “Enemy” is involved with that change.

Message – House says that there will be word, or news coming to the Home/family.

Interesting…….something seems to be brewing up, and funny enough, as I’m writing this my husband is getting some information about the defendant from an informant! My life has become SO strange in the past few years…

I’ll update on this as soon as I know anything-

Tea Leaf Fortune cards~

Must be feeling better in alot of ways, because I’m wanting to pull out different oracles and see what they say – that’s always a good sign 🙂

Fire – in the book it warns that passionate love or hate can become all consuming, and you are warned to temper you emotions.

Now funny enough, I don’t relate to that at all! I’m not an extremist at all, I stay pretty steady; so my thought about this is that it’s more basic.

There is strong emotion/passion because there is news on the way of guaranteed success! There would certainly be strong emotion if that kind of news arrives.

There is a shift with all my cards in the last few days….something is imminent for sure –

Sibilla della Zingara~

Early yesterday morning, these cards were drawn. By early evening, I not only understood them more fully, but the meaning had come to pass.

Belvedere, similar to Sospiri, shows a woman who is looking out to the distance, waiting for something. Unlike Sospiri, Belvedere speaks of something coming that the querent will appreciate. It is coming…

Now Domestico is interesting. You see a man-servant opening a door for you to get out of the carriage. He is the supportive, helpful one, who aids you in some way. He is someone close to the family, part of the circle but not a relative. I see Domestico often as either aid or help from somebody, or that there is about to be movement/progress to a situation as the door is opening.

Mercante can represent the one who deals with big finances ie, the trader, the banker, wealthy person etc. It can also represent ‘receiving the goods’ rather than being a person, or it could be a financial institution!

In this case, my sense of it was that it represented our financial trader friend. He is the Mercante in the Sibilla, and the Dog in the Lenormand! (someone we trust and is loyal)-

We were very surprised to find that by afternoon, he had arranged for a sum of money to be transferred into our business account. Enough to get some business done!

By evening, my husband and I were feeling much better as some of the pressure was lifted, and we definitely were appreciating our friend. He had come through!

So remember, Belvedere has a bit more positive twist to it than Sospiri!

Separating Fence-Bed-Butterflies

Yikes – not the best draw here, but fitting never the less.

Separating FenceBedButterflies

I am separated and feeling a bit alone as the first card implies.
The second card explains why: I’m sick
The last few days I’ve been heading down hill, and I commented to family yesterday that I felt that my energy had compacted into a tight ball around me. I was up most of the night because of the painful swollen glands…no fun.
I have removed myself from normal daily activities and am hunkering low (my 2 red cards), but fortunately with the Yellow Butterflies, I’d say it will be of short duration, I won’t be sick for long.

The Red Pages are indicative of adversity, challenges & trouble, and the Yellow Pages represent creativity, gain & spiritual awareness…so maybe I will gain some insight or creative time from laying low? I dont know
My head does seem to be swimming with ideas!

Page of Shustah ~

I wanted to post a Shustah  3 card draw that my husband did this morning. He walked into my office (my little creative cubby!) and found the cards on my cutting table.

I am fascinated with this deck, it hasn’t been given it rightful due in recent years. Tarot Dame I read recently, is part of a project with Aeclectic Tarot forum, where you commit to work with a deck daily for a year, and either blog about your impressions or write about them at the forum….. Primary Deck project.. or something like that.

When reading about this, I realised that that is exactly what I’ve been doing with the Lenormand, Kipper, Sibilla , Gypsy cards & Playing cards! I do something daily with those decks, without fail, and then choose one of them to write about.

Not that I need another deck on my list, but I really think I want to commit in that way to the Pages of Shustah as well.

My friend Kapherus at the Art of Cartomancy forum, has started writing wonderful posts about his many years of experiences with this deck, and is slowly building up a great archive of teaching for those who are interested in this deck. It would probably help me a lot, if I work with them on a daily basis and study them more closely…..SO! you’ll probably start seeing more posts on this beautiful deck too.

If I had a separate blog for each, I’d go crazy! lol So I will personally journal about them and share from time to time….at least that’s how I feel at the moment 🙂  *sigh

Here’s what he drew:

Path

Angel of Summer

Lord of Contemplation

Before writing about the specific cards, I would note that there are 2 green cards and 1 blue. The Green suit represents growth and progress…developments happening; and the Blue Suit represents Benevolence, compassion, goodwill, peace, serenity and productive projects. (thanks Kaph). On just the level of color, I could surmise that there is definitely expansion and growth concerning J’s peace and serenity, and in issues of  ‘success’; in other words he will be moving in that direction. Now onto the cards themselves-

The Path is immediately beyond the Present placement….what is coming next? I asked J how he viewed the card, was he drawn into it, going deeper into the trees, closing in around him? or was it opening, widening before him? He saw it as opening up before him…new vistas.

The Angel of Summer, can be representing the time of Summer, but it is also the card of Success. It’s the peak of a mental endeavor and it also can represent a group effort.

“Archangel Uriel is with us today to help us become successful. She brings the light, the growth we find in summer – progress. Success is her keyword.

Archangel Uriel is ruled by Uranus. now the focus is on freedom which comes from victory.” – quote from Rev. Ken Foor –

I was pretty certain that these first 2 cards were saying that the path is opening to J that will lead him to success. The Green Path I’m told, is a short Path…..maybe this is a short path to success….or in a short time-frame there is success…I’m not sure. There is also the possibility that something is temporary with this card, but that wasn’t my initial thought; had the Path followed after the Angel of Summer it might have meant a Success that is short-lived…but being presented in front of the Angel, it looks like that the time is short before success is his.

The 3rd card is what happens as a result of the first 2 cards. This is the Lord of Contemplation.

He is the One in deep thought and who meditates. He is the card that represents Responsibility of one’s motivations and desires. It ocurred to me that this is describing One who is fully Present in the now, and is connected to every aspect of a situation. He is also the Higher Self.

My immediate thoughts that I shared with J is that circumstances were about to open up to him that would bring him material success, but he would view it differently this time from times in the past. He would be reverent and careful with his success, being responsible in his actions going forward, listening to his Higher Self rather than being impulsive.

I took it to mean that he would treat this success in a more awakened, conscious state and therefore it would be a very different experience.

Am I right in my interpretation? all I can say is that J totally resonated with what I said, it felt right. These cards are still very alien to me, but I feel such a draw to them. There is a soulfulness about this deck.

You can order the deck and the accompanying book at Morning Light Bookstore online (scroll down the page).

I hope more people take to understanding this beautiful deck 🙂
